The newest grow light :)

Long story short, COB LEDs dissipate heat MUCH better than your average LED (regardless of spectrum). I can already see this in my grow tent (48’x48’x80’). My red/blue inside the tent ran 75-78 degrees; whereas, my new light runs 66-68 inside the tent. All this really means is the COB is losing less energy as heat and converting MORE energy into useful photons. The next I have not measured personally; however, it is said the COB light better follows the McCree curve (plants response to light) instead of just mimicking the chlorophyll a peaks you see in the red (~660nm) and blue (~430nm) spectrum lights. It offers more usable light for plant physiological functions.

$/watt (425watt): $1.23 (COBs are a bit pricey) this is for full fixture.

Per COB $/watt (vero29 generation 7) it is $1.12.

P.M. me if you have further questions. Those are the two majors ones I can speak on. I’ll also know more as I use and test this light longer!
