<play file098> The green and black low light filter of the camera looks down upon a ramshackle neighbourhood from high above. It zooms in to focus on a jeep and a pickup. Fanning out from the vehicles are 4 individuals, two humans, an elf and a troll, heavily armed and armoured, obviously shadowrunners. They are approaching a small warehouse or garage, the angle of the footage makes it difficult to tell. Two hang back, the elf and the troll, the elf seeming to slump against a wall. One of the humans takes up a covering fire position while the other carefully approaches the side of the building and spends a few moments prefectly still. The human that was covering the approach then carefully advances on the building. A muzzle flare from the scouting human lights up the low light filter, then the second human dashes up to the building and fires a grenade inside creating an even brighter explosion. A bright white bolt of fire lances out of the building at the grenadier, before two more blinding explosions rock the building. A final, searing white hot bolt of fire lances out at the grenadier, missing him and scorching white hot hole in the building across the street.
The team seems to relax, before suddenly glancing down the street and sprinting for cover. Moments later a Bulldog hurtles round the corner, its headlights and the muzzle flare of a top mount turret lighting up the scene. The camera feed is overwhelmed by a flash pack the runners have thrown behind them, blinding both the camera feed and probably the oncoming vehicle. The feed switches to thermal. The two humans are putting plenty of firepower into the speeding van, and the troll seems to be throwing something, but the thermal vision cannot make it out. The van is glowing hot, with heat spikes from weapons fire coming from its turret and side mounted guns, raking the humans positions. As it speeds closer to their position, the troll rushes the van, seeming to punch the wind shield, before diving to one side to grab something and throw it back again. As the troll dives to one side, the grenadier launches a grenade right into the van, through the hole the troll made. A weak blast of heat erupts from the van, sending it careening out of control before a huge explosion detonates moments later beneath the van, wrecking it, as it slams into a wall.
All but the grenadier move up to the cover the wreckage, the grenadier collapsing to the ground and vomiting. The 4 send a few minutes checking over the wreckage, before retrieving a warm limp body from the garage and leaving in the two vehicles.
As the vehicles drive off, a menacing voice breaks the silence of the footage.
“Old habits die hard Wraith. And your still weak”
