It's one of my pet peeves, articles like this make it seem like they have no interest in hiring the best candidates. They do, they have hundreds of applicants per place and can afford to pick, the difference is it's not who you know it's what you can do and that's far better than just hiring graduates because their parents got them an internship at the right place Vs a smart kid with good grades but who never had that chance because their dad works in a shop or whatever.

Also I am sorry to go on but the process is designed to be tough and is really in depth and uses experts to assess how you behave and react and nobody knows who anybody is or their background, just what they see in the session
