[News] REX Simulations To Port Products to X-Plane

You're wrong.

It didn't validate anything really, I don't know where your learned that the DC-6 was popular on gen Z simmer, besides, most Xplane users are not gen Z, I don't know if that was some kind of attack to the Xplane community but it's just not the case. For instance I'm an avid Xplane user and I started on FS2004 and then FSX...

As for the DC-6, it's simply not what Xplane users want right now, Xplane is making a steep turn towards airliners, more and more simmers want good airliners on xplane, a company such as PMDG making a DC-6 was a bad move, PMDG simply don't know the Xplane market unfortunately, the proof of that is that PMDG hinted that they wanted to port their 737 to Xplane, even though we have the excellent free Zibo 737, which is not far from study level, I don't know many simmers that would pay 150$ for what they can essentially get for free...

If PMDG keeps making uneducated guess about what Xplane users want, yes, there won't be a market for them on xplane, In fact I can guarantee you that if they port their 737 they are going to loose money, 100%.

But if they port the queen of the sky or even the 777, they'll be covered in cash, we badly need long haul study level planes, right now if you want study level you're pretty much limited to the 737, the A320 and the 757 on Xplane.
