Nexus 10 is receiving an OTA update for 5.1.1

Once again, while Google are dragging their heels on an update I see no evidence that they have completely dropped support of the Nexus 9

After over 6 months (yeah, go look at this you can't get why people think that? You have no evidence that that they will actually release an update either, do you? Some vague ramblings by a Google employee who self-admitted that he doesn't work on the Nexus 9. Tons of people have agreed that while it's promising it means fuck all.

stop being so dramatic

I'm being dramatic? You tell people to "get some nutsack" if they don't want to flash and I'm dramatic? As if they're somehow less a man (never mind women who might be here) because they don't want to do that. What the hell. You know what a lot of people don't give a flying fuck it's an open source OS. I don't. I have no plans of contributing to the code or debugging it (and as far as I can tell you don't either) what I do care about and have said multiple times and you keep freaking ignoring: is having a device that I bought that works. A device that hasn't been abandoned by Google.

I am not telling everyone to flash a custom ROM, and obviously flashing a custom ROM isn't a process for everybody

Are you kidding me? You pop up in every freaking discussion that someone has a problem in and then won't shut up when they say they don't want to flash.

However I do expect that enthusiasts on a Nexus 9 forum would have a slightly higher clue on the process of flashing a custom rom than average mum's and dad's using their tablet to track the kids on Facebook

Why in the world would you think that? Holy crap, there's a TON of people here with little technical knowledge. That's a huge reason why people show up. "My Nexus does this, I don't know anything, what do I do". Your response, without asking what they are capable of: flash a ROM. Reddit isn't composed solely of techno-geeks.

...I fail to see how providing such advise can, in some twisted way, can be classed as negative.

Still not getting it.

Why whine about the issue on a public forum when you have little to no leverage?! Do something positive and at least whine to Google about it, use those 'consumer rights' of yours.

WTF. People do whine to Google, are you deaf and blind? Think Google people don't read this forums? Get out a little.
