NFL Survivor League Week 4 Picks

Did some prelim research, here's what I have. Burned so far are: KC, Carolina, Miami

Cinci vs Miami - I can't pick this game as it's a Thursday nighter and my pool doesn't allow it. A battle of two underperforming teams. Miami's offsense is banged up and Ryan Tannehill looking awful against the Browns last week. Despite the injury list and the Benagls favoured by a TD, Miami still has some defensive threats and Andy Dalton has been looking pretty weak all season whenever challenged. I'd stay away from this game but if I was forced to choose I'd take Cinci simply because it's at home.

Houston vs. Tennessee - Another game I'd stay away from because it's divisional. Houston hasn't been too convincing and even though I burned them in one of my other entries in my big pool, I wouldn't trust Oswelier here. On paper, Tennessee doesn't look good but they have sprung a surprise against the Lions and I wouldn't be shocked if they do it here either.

New England vs Buffalo - Very tempting to take the Pats here because the Bills always struggle on the road, especially at Foxborough. The big question mark is who will play QB? We know it isn't Brady, no status on Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett is battling a thumb injury. Could Julian Edelman make an appearance at QB here? If I had a better idea who plays, I'd pick this one but I'm staying away

Washington vs Cleveland - Fading bad teams is always a good idea in survivor. Washington was overrated last season IMO and showed signs of it again at the start of the season but they are coming off a huge road win vs NYG. Washington will have game film on Pryor now and this might be the pick to make with few options out there. Only thing is, Cleveland will probably win a game or two along the way but I don't think it's here.

Arizona vs LA - I expect a bounceback game from the Cards even though the Rams somehow won back to back with a brutal offense. LA's defense is decent and could cause Palmer fits. I'm leaning Cards and picking this game as a possible value play given quite a few people burned them the past couple weeks.

Detroit vs Chicago - If you have guts on picking a road team in a divisional game, go here. My Bears have been awful...when's the draft again? Detroit should win even though they are on the road, they laid an egg in Week 2 and basically got blown out by GB in the first half last week. Chicago isn't near as good as GB so expect a close one but the Lions should edge it.
