The NHS 10 year plan has cleared a path for the privatisation juggernaut – and ignores our biggest health threats

I lived in the USA for many years, I left to never come back because I had a very common sports accident, and even after being fully covered I saw how it was going to destroy my income.

Everyone gets fragile when they get older, my mom keeps falling and breaking little things on her 80s. It is only a national health system keeping her from having a horrible quality of life.

If you think you will have enough money to cover your golden years under a private health insurance, just think twice.

Imagine what having a car accident will do to your insurance premium. Now think about all the eldery on your family and your community, they are all "car accidents" to happened or in slow motion.

The NHS is this thing that keeps you and your family from certain bankruptcy. And if you are too rich to care about it, then think on what that people will have to do to cover it. I've seen how private health destroyed all the wealth of several families in the USA, consuming their savings at the same speed as their cancers consumed their bodies.

I've seen all the crazy nutters in the street, with no chance for help. And how everyone there has a health problem which are waiting for the right moment to fix.

Private health just puts a number to your life, and that number is exponential the closer you get to death.

If you plan to have a very fast and instant death, private health insurerance is for you.

NHS is not perfect by any means, and the massive megacorps are trying to make it collapse. They don't care about patients, only money.

Would you put your life in the hands of a lawyer charging 1000 pounds per hour?. That is private insurance in a shell.
