Just to set the record straight: while this is news, I believe you are not posting this "because it's news", I believe you are posting it because you are short TSLA and this is negative news. You also timed it just a few minutes before market open, to maximize any negative impact.

Important difference IMO.

Supporting evidence: for weeks while TSLA was rising you didn't post a single piece of positive news. Now that there's some weakness in the price you are posting more frequently again, and only negative news.

Btw., as to specifics of the NHTSA investigating a petition whether to open an investigation, every single car mass manufacturer on earth has lots of "unintended acceleration" allegations.
