Fair enough. I've been around guys, older men when I was teen. I've heard a lot of guy talk working in restaurants. I've overhead 30 and 40 something male managers talk about 18 year old waitresses in language that would shock you...or maybe not. Fact is every guy wants the young women 18-21. I was creeped out when I overheard that talk. Now I understand. Women peak at about 19.

You stated that most 30-40 something men don't look like movie stars. Well the same can be said for women to an even more severe extent. Women age very poorly. Facial skin goes down hill and age is not kind to the female body. Men are actually peaking in their 30s and stay on a plateau for two decades after that. So while they may not all look like movie stars, men in this age range are desirable hunks. Case in point.
