Nice guy unpromptedly gives grammatical critique of an abstract for my philosophy writing sample, while making a number of grammatical errors. He's just trying to help; he's "not being a smart ass! .

He messaged me shortly before that to tell me that he LOVED my abstract. (Who loves an abstract..?) I think he meant that he loved the subject matter, because he clearly hates my abstract.

Also, in the below message, which was the first message, he ignores what I wrote about and offers his unprofessional and unread opinion of how slurring terms get their negative connotation, completely oversimplifying the discussion.

Edit: He sent the above linked conversation first, and I told him he was out of his depth because he is pursuing a degree to teach middle or high school. He doesn't know anything about philosophy (or grammar for that matter). He then typed off and on for two hours then finally sent the monstrosity in the OP.

I have so many more screenshots of him dismissing my interests. I'm the leader of a student org, so I felt obligated to be nice and engage members. I blocked him right after chewing him out.
