I'm an independent. I have never forgotten about how George H. Bush put us in this mess, or how his son fucked it up even worse. But I've watched team blue make the same fucked up decisions when they are actually in the driver's seat.

Both sides are to blame for this mess. If you can't see that you're no better than a MAGA thumper. Your morals may be in a better place, but you're ignoring what's happening.

REALITY is money talks. You can't make the money they make if you don't play the game. Money dictates the rules of the game and how you play. Most politicians spend most of the time A) fundraising. Then B) Campaigning for reelection. Somewhere around K) is worry about what the constituents of your district have to say.

They pick a "team" cough sponsor cough and play by the dictated rules. Stir up controversy, keep the people distracted, and don't fuck with the money.

Morally they still have the high ground on "team blue" in my opinion. But they still don't care about you at all. Unless they need you to reeelect them.
