Nice stable society

The actual individual people in positions of power haven't changed that much in the past sixty years. Just look at the US Congress for a good illustration.

Most of the metrics tilted in women's favor started with education and inclusivity in school. Those initiatives take generations to play out. They didn't miraculously materialize an educated and experienced workforce of Boomer women, but we still have a bunch of Boomer men clogging up the halls of power as they have for decades.

Younger men have grown up with much more of an equality, but we're also growing up (still) paying for the sins of our grandfathers. So you look around . . . and, women have more support orgs, more educational assistance and uplift. They apply to, get accepted to, and graduate from college at significantly higher rates. Then they get into a workforce that's eager to diversify and have rocket ship careers - at least at higher rates than equally skilled and experienced men their age.

Meanwhile, the CEOs and senators and board members and the like are literally the same people, just aging in place.
