They're trying to convince people that this is a both sides issue. There was a whole argument about it in a thread yesterday where someone was arguing that the Democrats were basically just unwilling to compromise because they wouldn't do exactly what Republicans wanted.

It's the same old tired story. Democrats are always expected to give in to everything, and they call it compromise. It's why we've moved more and more right so that other countries think it's funny that so many of our left-leaning politicians would be to the right elsewhere.

Biden will unfortunately do nothing but feed into this. We have the continuation of garbage from the right while Biden pushes "unity". It's all it ever is here. The right acts like shitbirds, and the left is constantly supposed to be nice and accept it or else be labelled "just as bad".

Basically: Guy comes to your house and takes a dump on your welcome mat. If you even so much as remove the dump you're just as bad. In the name of unity and togetherness you should actually thank him and compliment the dump and then walk around it every day.
