Are we talking about the NFL or are we talking about jiu jitsu which is a sport that relies far more heavily on technique.

I know NCAA track champions who transitioned to the NFL because football is based more on speed and athleticism. The skills required to play can be learned, athleticism is the real intangible.

Bjj is far more reliant on technical prowess as opposed to athleticism. If you want to be an elite competitor for the most part you must learn from An elite coach and work with elite training partners because that is how you learn to implement technique. The goal is achieving superior technical prowess.

You absolutely need high quality coaching and training partners if you're going to be a phenom. Good luck becoming a phenom without those two things.

Tell me, who in bjj has become a phenom at a non-elite camp under a sub-par coach with average training partners ?

I get you were trying to prove a point with your snarky comment, but in an attempt to make me look stupid you ended up betraying how Ill-informed you actually are.

Again we aren't talking about the NFL, if you asked me how to become a prodigious NFL talent my answer would be different.

But my comments were regarding becoming a bjj prodigy and the things I listed are absolutely necessary if a person is to become One.
