Nicola Sturgeon vows to cut 'trauma-inducing' waiting times for trans healthcare

That's great, but it's one of them issues that's hard to solve in my opinion.

From my little knowledge on the Scottish health care system for trans (I saw the waiting times and just went, fork this, I'm gonna sell a kidney and go private) it's not that way through choice, it's lack of staff.

You have to be very qualified (rightly so) in order to help those with gender dysphoria or any other related trans issues.

It's a lack of staff, getting the staff takes time, yes more could be done to help those get the qualifications, but with how little the NHS get paid, it's also down to preference, to me it seems like there's like not enough of a drive for those in the medical industry to specialise in gender care.

Of course, I'm extremely uneducated in the subject, and could be talking utter rubbish.
