Exhausted but can't sleep. Fighting with the bf because we never spend together (even though he's working a ton less than he used to). I thought it would just be a time think but its really getting between us. One night in the last two weeks he went to bed with me and (TMI inc) he reluctantly had sex with me. Ive been giving him as much space as I can. He gets home at 5pm, gets online laughs and plays with his friends til 3am and I always make sure he's comfy. I get him drinks, snacks and whatever else he could need without him even asking, I show interest in his games and ask how they're going, I'll even occasionally make a joke geared towards his friends so they don't just think I'm that awkward girl their friend is with.
Tonight once again I did all that and asked that I was able to use the comp to finish up my work for a client. Hr says sure....fast forward its midnight and I can't keep my head up. I go lay down and can't sleep for the life of me. Then he comes in to make himself something to eat and asks why I'm upset. I explain things, half in tears that the fact that we can't even sleep together anymore is getting to be too much and he says the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard "Couples don't sleep together"
what fucking world am I living in?!
I point out that even couples on different schedules find a night here and there to hit the hay together for the sake of their relationship and he goes on a rant about how NONE of his friends are like that. Wtff?? Right after that, back to his game. Swears he will get up early in the morning (as long as I wake him up when I get up which I CANT if he's up til 3)
Fucking ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous. Like what does he expect from me? To just leave him alone and act like were just roommates?
