Nike Pulls Houston Rockets Merchandise From China Stores

Going green also cuts costs,

Kinda but not really, it also has a lot of expenses along with it that were not an issue as they were just using the cheapest way possible to dispose of their garbage prior to that. It is in fact why a huge number of companies are pushing against climate change. Being environmentally responsible and actually really doing it is more expensive than just dumping their shit where they can get away with it.

Corporations should have profits per decade mindsets and not profits per quarter. Doing it per decade forces them to think of long term environmental aspects that would hurt their bottom line in that time period while they might have a year or 2 of fluctuation that is not acceptable with the current mindset. Granted there are businesses that do not make it a year but all businesses should be looking long term. Not this reckless short term bullshit we have now.

Like you said they went "green" to mask their failing business and only halfassed the environmental aspect of it.
