Nintendo 64/Genesis controllers for Switch have extra buttons and USB-C support

No, however specifically for the N64, I find any other controller isn't very good for actually playing N64 games. The developers made their control schemes with the N64 controller in mind, some games can get really awkward to play on modern controller designs. Play with an N64 controller and the game just feels right.

Another thing is the N64 joystick's rang of motion. Again, games are designed around that gated joystick and the long travel distance. Games can get really squirelly if you use something like a short stubby modern stick, and they don't actually cover the full range of an N64 stick.

For example, if I use a GameCube controller, jumping out of the water is hard because you can't pull the stick back physically far enough on a GC stick, it's out of range.
