Nintendo please, just drop the price.

My personal Reddit hot take is that people who blame consumers for this kind of BS are just buying into the rampant capitalism that causes it. Obviously Nintendo will get away with what they can as long as it makes money, so obviously it's the consumer's fault for buying it. Nevermind that Nintendo could just lower the price or make it a collection with multiple games, it's the consumers, the people who have no say in those decisions whatsoever, who are the real problem.

This is also why I hate the phrase "vote with your wallet". If there were an actual vote held among Nintendo fans, getting a Zelda collection over this would win 100 times out of 100, but since people are willing to buy this it means this is exactly what they want. Nevermind people who've never played Skyward Sword or possibly never even owned a Wii buying this game, obviously every person who buys this is "voting" to have more of it, and for Nintendo to never put effort into anything.

It's 100% on Nintendo that the best they can do for Zelda's 35th is to not even reach what they did for Mario's 35th, which was the bare minimum. And I don't want to hear some schmuck on the internet tell me that if I decide to buy this eventually it invalidates everything I said and makes it my fault that Nintendo just doesn't care.
