Nioh seemed like it would become my new favourite 3d souslike, but it really disappointed me as the game went on.

No, no, you just suck ass at playing Nioh, that's why the braindead deflect spam simulator looks better in your eyes! What everything else? Graphics and art style, Sekiro wins but not by much (easily the ugliest Froms game), story is ass, no replayability whatsoever, no coop, no weapon variety, no freedom during combat, useless prosthetic tools that barely make any difference, game feels miniscule due to how bland the world is, and how uninteresting the characters are, and let's talk about the insane recycling of enemies? Hell, you fight a main boss 3 times, are you serious?

"Fair"

Haha yep, as suspected, you got your ass handed to you in Nioh, hence you completely biased view of it. I give you that it could use some more impact, weight to the animations, but floaty? No idea what you mean by that, but aside from lack of weight, the combat is deliciously responsive, fluid, nice to control and really rewards skills and creativity. Nioh has nigh infinite replayability potential, Sekiro is a "once and dump" game that barely feels like a full game with how much it lacks in content.. and fun
