Is NK65 absolutly superior to anything else on the market currently in 150-300 bucks segment?

I havent bought it but I am pretty sure its a good midrange board, which is awesome for that price.

Its pretty interesting to read my own post that is just 3 month old, I was getting into the hobby back then and my opinion somewhat changed regarding purchasing low and mid range custom stuff. Its pretty funny to see that I was considering massdrop stuff just few month ago.

For my part I realized that this hobby is art. Its about design, sound and feel of the construction. Sure kbdfans stuff is good value for money, but designs dont feel very inspired to be honest. And ofc tray mounts cant compete with top plate and other more advanced mounting styles.

NK65 is more interesting in this regard and the construction of the case without visible screws. Its certainly a good mid range board, but I am happy that I aimed higher back in the day and got my m65a as the first high end after trying out kbdfans tray mounts. And I realized that it was a good choice to aim higher.

Btw how much will your Nk65 be after eu customs and shipping? (In eu aswell). Remember it being very good value for money.

Currently waiting for a Keycult no.1 (was lucky on recent b-stock sale) & the thermal, very exited to try leafspring and gasket mounts, my daily driver at home is a m65a and a koyu for work (which is suprisingly great even with the integrated plate). Trying to get a norbatouch for my nova board in addition. Its a great hobby and I am deep into the rabbithole (learning fusion 360 atm lol) but its important to do the research and to know what to aim for instead of getting many cheaper boards - as tempting as kbdfans stuff is price-wise maybe its smarter to wait and get something that you will not regret buying knowing that there is much more interesting stuff outthere.

My few thoughts =)
