Man I'm 26 now and have been rocking grills of bars and pubs and coneys on and off for 6 years, usually leaving when the place had enough people to be okay and then going hitchhiking n shit. But man I've been working non-stop for like 2 years now and it's just,, tiring. Repetitive, same shit. 100 degrees, 80% carryouts (feels like) while having a full house, busy up until close (10:45 now), and yeah. I don't think I'll ever leave the kitchen entirely but i do feel burnt out. I put in my 2 weeks a few days ago but my boss talked me into taking a third day off every week and gave me a bonus and a raise. Plus, he got us a sweet fucking AC thing so i got cold air blowing up my shirt now lol. Idk I'm ranting sorry but I think I can stick it out a bit longer. Don't want to leave my team behind but I need to change it up. Started HVAC schooling too but that's another story and shit idk about it really.
