No, that Chicago Cubs fan didn't steal a foul ball from a child.

Kids don't "deserve" the ball anyway.

My dad is in his late 50s and has been to hundreds of games and never gotten a ball. If he got a ball at a game he would cherish it forever and never forget that moment. He would remember who was with him and he'd talk about it until he died.

The ball means more to an adult then it does to a kid. The idea of booing people trying to guilt them in to handing a kid a ball is absurd.

I go to ab about 85% of my teams home games a year. And I watch the same kids in the same seats get 3-4-5 balls a game. And they still walk up to adults after they catch a ball and stand there with their glove out and beg for it, while other fans boo.

Fuck those kids. If you get the ball, you keep it. With that said. You should never ever come in to any sort of physical contact with a kid via climbing over, pushing or whatever in order to get the ball. But if you get it, it's all yours.
