No deed goes un-Donald'ed

People throw around “chain of command” like it’s a good excuse in this matter. There were only two people above him in the chain of command. There was the acting secretary of the navy, and there was the President himself. That only leaves two people who could have fired him, one was a trump appointee (let’s be honest, trump is quite bad when it comes to appointments), the other one was Trump himself. Thus, people believe that Trump was the reason he was relieved of his duties.

The whole chain of command argument is bullshit. What was he supposed to do? Let out his concerns in an email to the secretary of the navy, where it would promptly be thrown in the bin? Instead, he brought attention to the matter by informing members of the American public.

Seemingly, it worked, since we’re all talking about it.
