No gunshots fired at NC high school, officials blame malfunctioning water heater

The news (and some democrats) like to feed to the general public that mass/school shootings are a daily/weekly affair and you should live in fear that you're going to get shot up anytime you live you life.

Gun control goes three ways: the news and some democrats scaring you that you'll be shot up while doing your grocery shopping, republicans that pretend there's no issue, and then the truth which is in the middle you have a low chance of dying but maybe when we claim they are going to shoot up something and someone calls the authorities about it maybe the authorities should actually investigate it and not go, "that's too much paperwork, I'm not going to investigate it farther." or "this person is not allowed to have a gun but that involves paperwork so I'll just allow them anyway."
