No im not a brainwashed liberal. I just care about someone other than my self and the planet.

As I see it, you are completely misinformed on the Conservative mind.

I honestly see you as a very nice person in this confession, but I'm going to try and give you a different opinion, or at least give you a different view of the Conservative mind.

The way it works is this, you might be very willing to pay higher taxes for people to get a college education and healthcare, you might want to pay higher taxes to increase social security benefits, you might be willing to work even harder to pay more towards it, and that's beautiful, I commend you honestly. And I'm willing to argue that many conservatives want to pay for these, but they're absolutely not going to force anyone else to do so.

And that's really what it boils down to, preference in charity, some people are more willing to pay for free college education and healthcare, while others are more concerned about the flint water crisis, some are more willing to pay for current cancer patients their healthcare bills, while others are more willing to pay towards cancer research. And while it might be morally questionable, some really don't care.

So I'm going to have to ask you this, is it morally okay to force individuals to pay for something they might not be willing to pay for? That's how conservatives think about the whole thing.

Ironically enough, while it is stereotypical that conservatives are more 'selfish' than others, it is mostly the Conservative states that pay more charity than the liberal states, in a conservative paradise you don't go to the government for help, you go to the rotary, to the fraternities and sororities, to the charities, and people who are willing to help go to these organisations and help in them. And convince their friends and family to help in said charities.

So yeah, have a nice day, you seem very open minded and I'm waiting for your reply.
