No, Immersive Engineering, I really WOULD like a wiki...

Except sometimes while im on lunch where I work, i look up cerain things from mods that I might try, or like now, I am trying to figure out if Immersive Engineering might work in a modpack I am building.

Sounds like you should just put it in the modpack that you are testing and seeing if it fits, instead of doing that stuff when it sounds like you are preoccupied by other stuff... I for one am someone who really doesnt care to look up info about minecraft when im not playing minecraft so i really cant relate to this complain nor see it as valid.

Id also enjoy looking at some of the items you offer to see if i even WANT to build them on the server I am playing on right now, but I cant even get a list of items or screenshots on the curseforge post.

Well that is something i would enjoy but i find screenshots dont even tell the whole picture oftentimes. There are more than enough shown off on reddit about what is in the mod and you do get a list of items and blocks if you actually install the mod and look into it.

I thought people used to crucify mod devs who didnt show what was in the mod on the minecraftforum.net post, now with Curse, you get very little info. Am I the only one who misses the old minecraftforum posts, with lots of info about the mod right there for you to check it out?

Curse isnt a cause of that. It literally has a page setup for mod devs to put a wiki and info. I for one am against 'crucifying' any dev for any reason. Does it really matter? Jesus, just let the devs do their work and if you dont like it dont use it. If a mod doesnt have good documentation it means i have to look into it more. The book in immersive engineering is really well done and a little bit of looking into it shows all of its mechanics and how stuff works as well as well done pictures and multiblock structures.

It seems if you don't want Direwolf20, you just aren't going to find out what is in Immersive engineering. Seriously, I have almost NO idea what this mod offers, other than a couple pics of power lines.

I dont watch direwolf, dislike most of his content, it took me 5 minutes to play around with immersive engineering in creative to look at recipes and multiblocks and items, it wasnt hard.

It seems like all of your complaining just stems from not being able to look at stuff outside of minecraft (and not wanting to look at videos about the thing). So, i really cant relate. Its not hard to just wait till you are playing minecraft to test out and play with the mod. I would love if every mod's book was also online like /u/vazkii's but its only a small feature. I never find myself looking at the online lexicon anyhow.
