Murder of an animal with malicious intent should be considered just as bad as the murder of a human. It is the one way to break someone and ruin their life without going to jail for the rest of their life by killing a human of equal importance to the person.

My SO had his precious pup taken from him by the hands of his ex, last year for revenge. Without saying too much (case is undergoing) this piece of human waste is likely to get probation. If/when that happens, I'm going to do all I can to make her life a living hell.
