there will still be ethical problems, other companies have said they just need a small piece of flesh from a living animal and can grow more meat, so that opens the door to animals just living in labs regularly getting pieces cut off them, there will absolutely be companies that advertise lab grown meat that has only been grown from fresh animals or something along those lines, so instead of thousands of animals living and dying in a factory farm, there might only be a dozen or so at a time but they will be kept alive and farmed for their flesh and tissues, think of bears that live their whole life in cages for their bile:
