I never said sexist. Unconscious bias is not the same as being sexist. Sexism is a very conscious decision. Unconscious bias are just the innate way we think based on stereotypes and preconceived notions. Everyone has them. My point was not sexism or holding us back or any of that. It was simply to say that they assumed it because she it a woman and this really would never happen to a man. There was nothing deeper than that but that it very likely the trust. The woman was not sexist she just has an unconscious association. Regardless of that I bring these up because clearly the way we think and speak regardless of intention can still affect people.
