That’s the part with our free will.

He knows what we are thinking and feeling. What will happen if we eat the fruit and what will happen if we don’t. But the very thing he can’t/will Controll is our free will of how we choose. He knows what will happen, no matter how we choose, but WHAT we choose, is something that he can’t just take out of us so easily. Because we are still a part of him and he’s a part of us. The free will is the biggest present he gave us beside Life. Yes he could give me a stroke or kill me instantly if i choose against his will, but why should he? Im his son. He even told Adam he will die (instantly) if he eats the fruit. But even then, when the biggest sin was commited, he showed mercy with both humans and let them live, but later, after a hard life they must die for their sin still, and this got passed down the generations.

This sin was broken when Christos came on earth and died for our sins. That was the ultimate sacrifice for mankind and the big mercy with god showed us.

The free will is something straight out of god, a very divine part of our Soul and one of the base elements of our „I“.
