Thats because theres no such thing as the future. everything exists now. the future and the past are projections you create in the now based on how you define yourself in the present. wrap your head around that one. The illusion of linear time is a biproduct of the shifting through billions of static frames of consciousness that each unto themselves is a discreet definition. In regards to your friends and family and new people, you are coming onto them too strong. Give them the freedom to choose what they want to believe as they have given you that equal freedom by not tampering with your passion for the 'future' and whatever ideas you attached to that individual exploration. If you form a strong enough relationship to yourself and it naturally requires you to learn and expand and explore more on your idea of the'future' then you will by natural synchronicity find people such as the people on this subreddit of like mind and maybe in your physical proximity if you follow your heart.
