In order for something to be selfish, that something has to be self serving. In what way is suicide self serving? Do you think I want to fucking jump off of a bridge or in front of a train? That I want my family to suffer? When it comes down to that moment when you're on the ledge and you're gathering the strength to step off of that ledge, it's not a choice. It is not selfish. When someone makes up their mind to die, you can't change it. Literally nothing you can say or do will change it. Being there 3 times myself, I know what the fuck I'm talking about. Don't ever call suicide selfish again, because if you really believe that it is, some fundamental part of you is fucked up. Why don't you go tell everyone who committed suicide that they're selfish, hell tell me that I'm selfish for committing suicide. You brought it up, so go fucking do it. At least have the balls to say it to every suicidal person. Go ahead and watch how many deaths you directly caused because of some belief that suicide is selfish
