No phone as in no talking or texting with it, or browsing social media, or watching YouTube, or playing games, or anything a phone is used for other than the camera, as that was the only feature I used from the phone while embarking on this 7-day cruise. Sometimes we shouldn’t over analyze things as that just makes things more complex in this already complicated enough world.

I don’t post on social media, so the only platform where I would share any form of “content” on is Reddit. I went on this cruise with the only people who matter in my life: my parents, sister, wife, and son...so having “no phone” actually improved our communication.
