Traveling from Gorakhpur to Lucknow on a special train, it came on time, we boarded, that shit then got late more than 4 hours standing on a small station and we had a connecting train from Lucknow to Mumbai, after that the special train did a snail walk, deliberately losing more time, meanwhile we were in sleeper and people all around, full packed. The coach had no functioning lights so it got dark inside as night fell, literally can't see anything, and this was time of nokia symbian so no phone torch unfortunately. Train was so late we thought we have missed the train from lko. As Lucknow arrived the corridor was packed with impatient people waiting to get down. We managed to get to the door so we can make up some time and rush to the train which was literally minutes from departure time. Surprisingly the train literally arrive at platform adjacent to the train we wanted to board. We jumped down the alley between trains where all the sewer and eater refill pipes are there. Shouted someone inside to open the door, rushed to our coach and it literally departed as we boarded our coach. Boy it was a thrill at the end
