I mean the world of MMA is much bigger and more active than the fan base of discgolf and r/MMA has a spoiler rule that I don't think I've ever seen broken. Seems like it works just fine over there.

I work nights and can't watch most things live so i watch the previous nights MMA card and Discgolf coverage the next day. If I happen to forget I haven't watched a particular fight yet and absently open reddit, I'm never spoiled. I see the spoiler tag and title like "main event winner post fight speech". All you have to do is post with a spoiler tag. Seems pretty reasonable especially when most of the people consuming discgolf content, do it with next day coverage. It's an extremely long game that takes place over multiple days and people are just naturally going to find it easier to watch everything in a clean, edited manor.
