Hi,

I'm happy to say that the dice gods have picked you! I am going to run Session Zero on Sunday 31st Jan at 6.00pm GMT. I'm aiming for a 3-4 hour session.

During this session we can all meet each other, and I can tell you a little about the game world. Then we can create characters, start developing background stories that will hopefully link the characters together and suggest a group theme. I'd like all the characters to have some sort of link to at least one other character. Time allowing we'll also get started with the game proper.

If you haven't sent me an email address yet, please do and also confirm that you have an FB account that I can invite to a facebook game group as I have found those to be the easiest way of co-ordinating events, sharing documents and posting links to the video hangout on game day. If you don't have an FB account, i'll email the link a bit before start time.

Things to do before we meet: If you haven't tried Google Hangouts yet, please find a few minutes before hand to install the plugin and poke some buttons to familiarise yourself with it / check that your cam/mic/headphones are all working and you know how to get it setup.

I am happy for you guys to roll physical dice, at least until you start rolling like Percy! If you don't have dice there is hangout app called Dicestream that generates numbers and shows them on screen: Click the elipsis in the top right corner of the hangouts screen, select Older Version (just because that's the one i'm using). There should be another elipsis on the left margin, click that, select Add Apps, search for Dicestream, should be straightforward from there.
