Nobody needs to justify why they eat meat

I get that some people have to hunt in order to have food but honestly if you have the option not to I think eating meat that was raised to be eaten is better. animals in the wild have babies, you don't know if the deer or rabbit (or w/e) was trying to get home to its babies and got shot. idk. that's just the way I feel. I just think if given the option it's better to eat animals that were raised ethically specifically for the purpose of being food. a year after leaving veganism I still occasionally do feel really guilty for eating what was a living feeling animal but people are omnivores, a lot of animals are predators, animals are going to be killed and eaten no matter what. it's been happening since the dawn of time and it'll continue to happen. it's not morally wrong, people have to eat meat. but I like the take that you don't have to justify it to anyone. I know it's a matter of time before I meet more vegans that are like "why'd you stop/why do you still eat meat?" like... because I have to if I wanna live and be healthy, like everyone else?
