Nomads that make $10,000+/mo, what do you do?

Software developer. Mid-30s, I've been remote and DN-ish since 2012. Nowadays based in Lisbon, but I've been all over.

I don't really want to disclose what I make nowdays, but suffice it to say that if I only made 10k in a month, I'd be horrified, haha.

I'm absolutely not any smarter or better at what I do than anyone else though -- a lot worse at the technical stuff compared to many people I know. Insofar as there's a 'secret' to it, I find that it's mainly a combination of a) have good people skills so people like you and want to work with you, and b) don't be afraid to ask for amounts of money that's based on the value it brings to the business you're working with, rather than how long it takes you.
