Well I joined to take a break from vanilla RUST life. I built a little cottage, started to create an Inn. Then some guys from the north attacked us during a trade. Randomly. Declaring it "RP".

The next day I found a base just over the hill of my place. A huge compound of death.... It was like the deathstar. I asked my fellow ERTC members what this was and they said we could claim it as our own. So I got inside and authed on the cabinets. However when my ERTC leader arrived he said actualy this was ok and on LEMONS land. So we left. After some slight burgalry (because twig walls and wooden doors.....).

The next day LEMON was raging that I broke the rules and should play on another if I just wanted to raid. An admin told me I wasnt allowed to auth on cabinets but I explained the mistake. However parts of my base was also missing! Seemed pretty likley who was responsible since they were being so vocal on my wrong doings and raiding them (they wouldnt have known who it was had they not got the admin over anyway). I fired a warning rocket in their general direction, warning them to leave my base alone. It might be their land but their were making a huge as base right on border.....

Eventually we found out the server had spazed out and the walls were missing because of that. So I apologized and said I would look out for LEMONs base if they did mine. Friends again?

Next day lemons large compound turned into a huge ass tower. With two guys on the roof looking down at my base..... yeah nothing suspect about that at all...... I was also informed how LEMON was now part of UPS and we were at war....

Hostilities began when LEMON and friends decended uppn ERTC HQ and raided the base. Destroying buildings in ERTC land as their went in the crossfire. My wonderful Inn, unfinished, shot to bits by LEMONs cowardly allies. They couldnt even come face us in even numbers.

LEMON continued to gloat for days. We saught retaliation. Last night we screwed them over like they had us -but surprise surprise an admin decended claiming we had broken the rules. Apparently we cant take over a base unless we blow all the doors..... Are you kidding me?? You know how much C4 it would take to blow every single door in a huge base? We wanted to occupy it so the enemy could not regain control and launch attacks on us.

I dont know what my point is. Hmm. Well I joined RF for a quiet life but became embroiled in a war. RUST will be RUST I suppose.
