I really don’t see how it is okay for any artist (no matter the color of their skin) to try and exclude certain audiences from enjoying their work because of their race? Doesn’t behavior like that only promote more division between people? What’s so wrong with allowing messages describing the hardships and immense pains experienced by the black community to reach white people, or any other race of people for that matter? Isn’t it important that we all understand what everyone is going through, so maybe we can try to work together to bring our society to a place free from bigotry and oppression? This world makes me absolutely sick to my stomach, and I mean this with all of the love and understanding I can possibly offer to you all.
