Noob looking to get into VR

If you haven't already you may want to check out some VR specific subs:

/r/vive (a bit of debacle with one of the mods recently so community fragmented into other subs)

/r/SteamVR

/r/oculus

I think the play space you posted is a little tight. Mine is about the same and I don't use my setup as much as my previous dwelling that had more space. I'd recommend the Vive wireless adapter if you get a Vive or Vive Pro but unfortunately it's not compatible for most people with Ryzen motherboards. I tested it out and it's awesome but had to return it because of the bluescreen issue with Ryzen. I also bought a Samsung Odyssey+. Much better visuals than OG Vive but overall I didn't like the fit or tracking and returned it. If are able to test any models in your area, do so.
