Noobie question about cheek weld

Sweet spot cheek welds are as important to accuracy as having a hand on the pistol grip and finger on the trigger when distance increases. Will your groups still be what you call, “not bad” if you switched up, and pulled the trigger with your middle finger and uncomfortable hold on the grip at a not too distant target? Probably, after a few shots, you’ll tighten up the grouping. Switch up again and hold the rifle slanted…I’m sure after a few shots, groups will tighten up, now switch back to a normal hold…you find yourself having to tighten up again.

To keep it simple, you practice consistency. Consistency leads to eliminating or decreasing variables that impact desired results which is accuracy. Shoot how you feel is comfortable to you, but keep it consistent.
