Noodlers brand analysis by peneconomics part 2

I fully agree. The Dr. is providing a lot of meaty contributions that encourage discussion ranging the gamut, and it is a welcome change of pace from the usual nib shot fare (though that is good too).

I never looked much into this blog before the Noodler's Ink series but the first post generated so much interest here I took the time to read it - and found it wonderful! I was delighted to find that somebody is taking the time to go into this level of detail about FP businesses! Looking today at just how many posts there are on his blog I feel I've been missing out for a while and plan to sit down with it for the long haul.

The problem I face when reading this second part is that to me it hardlines an outsider's perspective and generally comes across as using a particular brand to push an article about a particular business philosophy and has less to do with any particular FB business than with small businesses in general. The prescribed remedies ignore public statements by the company to such a degree that I must conclude disingenuity.

I am not trying to defend the example business chosen for this article so much as point out that many small businesses could be substituted quite well into the talking points. Had this post been labeled "A Case Study In Small Business: Noodler's Brand" or some such I would have no reason to fault the path the article takes. I think we could all agree here that to see something like Organics Studio follow the here laid plan would be one of the most fun and beneficial shake ups of recent FP history - but the key to that is that its founder has, to my knowledge, never expressed disinterest in pursuing the avenue.

Here's my ultimate take: This stuff is awesome. I hope the Dr. continues. I hope also that he heeds his own advice and does not miss the forest for the trees. No writer has consistently amazing quality and some articles are going to be viewed as less than they were intended. Sometimes also the criticism is justified.
