NOPE seems even more relevant and unusual now…

Jordan Peele is just another popular film director with a small degree of interest into the topic. I personally felt the film could’ve had a better plot, but I highly doubt it was means to convey soft disclosure through a sci-fi film.

If there were any writers/directors chosen to ease the public stigma behind the subject, I believe Spielberg took role back in ‘77 with Close Encounters of the Third Kind, tbf. If I were a Major production executive tasked with funding soft disclosure through Hollywood, I’d most likely go with the small handful of filmmakers that are actually obsessive into the subject. Cameron, Spielberg, Nolan, just to name a few off an already short list.
