Norm Powell has his left arm in a sling in the locker room.

Hope he good. Since reg and luke are gone he became more important so this sucks if he is out. if he miss a lot of time tho he another guy where the front office prioritized talent over fit and complementing kawhi and pg in terms of iq and availability. He is a good player and Yes we ‘won’ that trade. And looking at it alone everyone would do it a million times over. But u have to consider the ripple effect and the rest of the roster with any acquisition, just like russ. At the time we had luke and reggie so i knew we were overloaded at that undersized guard position, another score first non defender or passer. He isnt a point guard if pg and kawhi are at the 2 and 3. And isnt a smart off ball cutter or passer or defender. and he has not been consistently available throughout his career, hes had a number of injuries that have kept him out a lot of games. U dont want role players who miss games around stars who miss games. There could’ve been better fits (like a pg) we went after, or just stood pat till the offseason cuz we weren’t going anywhere last year. Norm a good player not denying that one bit. We’ve seen lou will in a similar role to him and that did work fit wise either. Our 3/4 highest payed / best player (i think mann is ours rn when used correctly) should either be a good athletic two way center/pf or point guard who can shoot and defend. Feels like there are always way more available scorers then smart glue guys who can do a bit of everything. gordon should be able to fill some of norm scoring. I dont like how this front office operates very much
