Is it normal to fake patience with your kids?

It depends on your temperament. I’m naturally calm, so my kids will pick up on it and be calm. I’m chill, they’re chill, talk to them like an adult, make them understand the why, don’t talk TO them, talk with them, and things will go so much smoother. They’re not less than you and you’re not more than them. Depending if you’re raising them right, you’ll have an easier time with them listening to you.

If you’re a dick, they’ll be too. Kids are sponges and they learn from their environment and will learn to react the same way you do. So the best thing you can do is lead by example. They’re kids and you’re an adult with more life experience, we’re all students of life & still learning everything.

Patience is something more of a choice/habit. You can definitely learn it.

Never fake patience with them.
