Normal for low mileage rifles not to close on go?

Well, if you put about 30 lbs of pressure on it, it should close. The no go only let's you know if it's too loose and if the go takes anywhere over 35 lbs to close then it either walked out of headspace or wherever it was made just has looser tolerances. If I was you, try to measure the close pressure because it may still feed bc the actual round is smaller, but that doesn't really mean it's safe. Make sure your Guage isn't damaged, but it's normal for new rifles to move a little when they 1st get shot. As long as it's not getting worse, it should be fine.

Use a long rod inside the carrier instead of the op rod to set against a scale and push untill it closes and see what it takes. Works for me.
