In North Carolina the age of consent is 16, guess that doesn't apply to photos? (Actual comment from OP)

When I was younger I worked as a Summer Camp councilor at a Girl Scout camp and one of the parents sent their kid in with a film camera.

Well, kids (9-13) being stupid kids, took photos in the shower and the bunkhouse. One of the kids told us what they did and when we went to the camp director she called the girls into her office and asked them who was involved and if they were clothed in the pictures. One of the camp worker's kids was involved and we spoke to the parents in the director's office. When the one girl dropped the bombshell that the pictures were of them nude you could feel the weight in the room increase 10x.

The parents all knew each other, many of these kids went to camp for the entire summer. The parents agreed that the photos should just be destroyed and as I was leaving to grab something to eat the director submitted that I was the best person for the job. I took 2 other councilors, my then fiance and another worker and we tossed the film roll into a fire.

It was such an odd summer that year.
