The north ryde station apartments have to be one the ugliest ive seen

I worked at kogarah 10 years ago and I can tell you they weren’t finished when I left (2007) but they were being built so I’m estimating just under 10 years, maybe 8 or 9? The thing is they look like they were falling apart years ago I reckon it was after 5 years they looked like that. Maybe somebody with better knowledge who paid more attention could confirm but it felt like years before finally they started getting around to actually attempt to fix that eye sore.

You’re absolutely right those apartments seemed like the corners were cut so badly while the developers took the money to the islands never to be seen again. I’m not knowledgeable at all on property or investment (I know how to lose money on the ASX though) so I wondered why it would take so long to get around to fixing it? Would it be a hassle to try and get the developers to do something? Have the residents just chipped in together?

There is no way I would have ever bought in to those units. I don’t know why but those units were a particular interest to me because the construction stuffed the traffic up when being built (because turning right in to the street with Bethany College wasn’t bad enough) so I always made a point to check on their progress. They’re so random and out of place in that part of kogarah.
